Why does my teenage girl (or boy) always smell? How hard is it to wash those pits? Why are teenagers still smelly even though she just showered? What is Mom supposed to do…….Why Gluten Free Bath Bombs Will Rock Your World
Invest a small fortune in bath bombs!!!!
The Best Smelly Store I Have Ever Been To
I must confess that I am not a “bather”. I actually loathe taking a bath so much so that when we built our house, we didn’t have one put in our shower and just had them put in a 5-foot shower with two shower heads, lol. Now you might be wondering why I am writing this. Well, I have a 13-year-old daughter, in other words, I have a stinky teenager (actually two, but the boy would not be on board with bath bombs) living in my house who loves to take baths. When I happened upon a cute little boutique store that sold handmade bath bombs I thought it would be a win-win situation for both of us.
However, even though the boutique smelt amazing, I was afraid they wouldn’t have anything for my daughter because she is a Celiac Disease. Little did I know, this would soon be one of my favorite places to splurge and spoil my daughter.
Buy Local
Let me first tell you I don’t normally go into stores with strong smells because they give me headaches; so when I walked into Sweet Bubble Bath Confections I was pleasantly surprised. It was very sweet smelling, but not in a bad way. I believe that it was due to the fact they use natural ingredients to make their gorgeous products. It was also beautifully decorated with such a variety of products that I did get a bit overwhelmed (in a good way). The staff was amazing and helped me narrow down my focus and wasn’t pushy at all. Although they are physically located in Las Vegas, NV, you can order from their website so be sure to check out their selection.

I opted on getting my daughter the Bon Bon Bubbles as a stocking stuffers. I can happily say that not only did my daughter love the big bubbles, but she left the bath smelling better than any teenager I have met, lol. Woohoo, no more smelly teenager!!! Oh, and there were no issues of her getting sick either, so definitely a win-win!!
They have an amazing variety of products that change all the time and even though I have only tried a few of their products, I am in total LOVE! They also have shower melts (the shower version of a bath bomb) and I will say it was divine!!!!
As I said early, I will definitely be shopping at Sweet Bubble Bath Confections again, but it will only be for occasional splurges as they are a bit pricey, but totally worth every penny as they are handmade in the store and use natural quality ingredients.
Homemade Bath Bombs
Are you Pinterest obsessed? I know I am, lol, I have found a lot of inspiration for making my own bath bombs and shower melts using easy to find ingredients and essential oils. Here are some of the ones I pinned several if you are interested in trying to make your own too. There are also some shower melts or steamers recipes pinned as well.
My plan is to teach my daughter how to make her own so knows how (and won’t bug me to do it, lol) but also so she can make them as gifts for her friends if she wants. Just trying to look out for the other teenage moms, lol. But seriously, why not teach her. She’s old enough, loves to be in the kitchen and it also empowers her to feel like Celiac Disease isn’t a hinder to the quality of her life but just a “thing” she has. What I love about making my own is that it allows me to personalize the scents (I’m rather particular) and shapes. I can also control the ingredients and make sure they are gluten free. Another preference of mine is to not use artificial dyes. I know they make the bath bombs “prettier” but I personally feel it isn’t necessary. I also won’t be adding any natural herbs (it’s a texture thing for me), again, just my personal preference. The beauty of making your own is making them the way you want and with the ingredients you want. Why Gluten Free Bath Bombs Will Rock Your World
Will you let bath bombs rock your world? Come join me on the sweet smelling side!
So are you a bath or shower person? Do you have a favorite store or recipe you are willing to share? If so, I would love to hear about it!
Oh this is awesome! I’m not a bath fan either but do they have other body products that are gluten free?
They do!! They had some glycerin soaps with embedded loofas that I picked up and am currently loving! I also love their shower melts. I definitely want to go back and look again so I can get a better idea of ALL the things, lol. I also think I will be picking up some goodies for Valentine’s Day 🙂
Amazing! I have celiac disease as well and know how hard it can be to find great products!
Very true! I love when I find little gems like these that my daughter loves!
