Do you want to know how to join Epicure? You’ve already decided you love Epicure’s products and their Good Food Mission and have decided it is completely worth it to join (you’re totally right by the way, lol). You may be undecided about how you want to run your Epicure business, but that is OK. You don’t have to have that all figured out just yet.
First, you realized why you should join Epicure. Second, you need to know the “how”, then you can figure out the rest.
How to Join Epicure
Ok, so first up, Epicure is old school. What I mean by that is you can’t just cyber stalk their main web page, search for “join” and just click through some info and presto you are in.
Nope, that’s not how it works.
At first, I was pretty bummed that it wasn’t anything like that because I didn’t understand why they do what they do. Don’t get me wrong, I really dislike some of the convoluted systems that are out there because who seriously reads all that stuff? I don’t. It’s all in legalese and you never really “understand” all of it without talking to someone who understands the company.
Deciding
I already knew a consultant in Canada that I trusted who I could talk to. I asked her if I could read Epicure’s P&P (polices and procedures). My reasoning was that I wanted to just join as a “friends and family discounter” or “kit napper”. I wasn’t sure I wanted to work the business and wanted to make sure I could still stay active enough to get the discount (spoiler alert – you can totally do that if you want). I also wanted to know that if I decided to join that I could work my business through my blog (which I obviously can).
Once I found out all the info that I wanted, I asked my friend how to join Epicure. That’s when I found out Epicure was really old school. They actually want their consultants to develop relationships (shocker!!) with their potential joiners – the gall, I mean seriously, LOL. Ok, in all seriousness, it is really brilliant!!!
You HAVE to have a good relationship with the person you join under. It doesn’t matter if you want to work Epicure as a business or just want the discount. I’m not saying you need to be besties, but you do need to be able to communicate with him/her.
Yeah, yeah, get to the point, I get it. I brought up everything else because it was necessary. I didn’t understand it at first, but I do now. I don’t want you to be confused like I was.
How to Join Epicure
Once you decide to join, contact the Epicure consultant you have chosen to join under and he/she will set up a call because we have to take down all your pertinent details to give to the home office. Things like: name, address, email, phone number, credit card info (to pay for your kit), etc.
That’s it!!!!! Yep, totally old school, but in a really good way!
Just because the process of joining is old school doesn’t mean that the company is. They have a TON of training in the back office (which is intuitive and user-friendly – bonus!). Their focus is on relationships and I couldn’t agree more.
