If you have a big family then you should try some family friendly Epicure meals. I can only imagine how daunting it must be to feed a large family. Especially as your kids age and their appetites increase (those pesky teenagers can eat a lot!), it can be challenging to find meals that will work for your family. I wanted to find some family friendly Epicure meals that could help you and make dinner time easier!
Feed a Big Family with Family Friendly Epicure Meals
Some family-friendly Epicure meals come in the form of Meal Kits, Meal Solutions, and how to stretch those to work for you and your family.

Family Friendly Epicure Meals with Meal Kits
Epicure has several Meal Kits to choose from, like Good Asian Real Fast, Good Greek Real Fast, and Good Mexican Real Fast.
Each of these Meal Kits comes with 4 full-size jars that go with the regional flavors for that Meal Kit, grocery lists, and 5 recipe cards.
You can make WAY more than 5 recipes with these Meal Kits! There are actually enough spices to make 40 or more meals! That’s a lot of meals! You just add your favorite protein and veggies (that way you get to personalize to what works best for you and your family!).

Family Friendly Epicure Meals with Meal Solutions
If you want more variety than Epicure’s Meal Kits, then you should check out Epicure’s Meal Solutions!
They have over 20 different Meal Solutions with flavors from all over the world so there is definitely something for everyone! There are a couple of crockpot/instant pot options, stir-fry options, soups/stews, one-pot meals, and more!
One of my favorite instant pot options is Instant Pot General Tao Pot Roast. I love that the whole meal comes together in just minutes (of prep time) and all the cooking is done in one pot for easy cleanup. Yes, it takes about an hour for the meal to be completely done from start to finish; however, that isn’t you slaving over a hot stove.
Another favorite of mine is Pad Thai. I love that it is so versatile and that I can just throw whatever I have on hand into the stir-fry and it comes out tasting fantastic every time! (There is also an instant pot recipe for this one too!)
One thing I forgot to mention is that all Meal Solutions come in packs of 3 and cost $10.50 CA/$9 US. You might be thinking “what am I going to do with 3 of the same meal solutions?”. Rest assured, you won’t be eating the same meal each time you use the Meal Solution unless you want to! Epicure has a plethora (I really love this word, lol) of recipes that go with each Meal Solution so you always have options!
Family Friendly Epicure Meals – Stretching Meal Solutions
I know you just learned about all the variety that Epicure offers with their Meal Solutions and you might be wondering if they would work for a large family. Just so we are clear, my definition of “large family” is more than 5. Now if you have teens as I do, they sometimes eat more than a regular serving (especially if it’s a favorite).
You may also have big eaters, teens aren’t the only ones who can put some food away during a growth spurt, LOL. My point is, these are recommendations and you obviously know how much your family is going to go through.
I recently made Pad Thai for some friends of ours, so we had 4 adults and 2 teens. I also made it vegan as one of our guests were vegan (love the versatility of Epicure’s Meal Solutions). I opted to make some chicken and have it on the side in case anyone wanted more protein. What I did to stretch this meal was to add a TON of veggies!!! I used broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, snow peas and for “protein” I used edamame. I did make extra noodles, but this definitely fed us all and there were leftovers. Oh, and we were definitely full afterword!
Over the years, I have found that by adding extra veggies (which is never a bad idea) and adding beans or edamame, I can really stretch a meal when I need to feed a crowd, lol. Also, I try to make sure I make enough pasta or rice (these are my families go-to’s, but potatoes would work well too.

Another option is Epicure’s Pulled Chicken or Pulled Pork Meal solutions. You make them in your crockpot (so super easy) and the recipe calls for 3lbs of meat so definitely enough for a large family and still have leftovers!
From the research that I have done, most Meal Solutions do not need to be doubled in order to feed a larger family, you just need to add more protein, veggies, pasta, etc., to accommodate the number of people you are feeding. Experiment and find what works best for you and your family.
