Epicure’s New Keto Options: Winter/Spring 2021

Just so you know, we may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post. We have a full affiliate disclosure that you can find under here. I am not a doctor, lawyer, psychiatrist, therapist, or your mother, and I don’t play one on the internet. I have so many friends doing Keto these days that I thought I would help them out with Epicure’s New Keto Options! What does this mean? Every season Epicure updates their seasonal catalog and then I update what products from that catalog that are Keto friendly.

Let me caveat that I do not follow a Keto diet and my knowledge is limited. I primarily focus on how many carbs our, as in Epicure’s Seasonings, are. I know that how many carbs and the kinds of carbs you eat are important to those who follow the Keto diet.

My point for this is that you should know what’s in your spices (duh, I mean everyone should know that, lol) and how many carbs they contain so you can stay within what you would like!

I am not listing everything, I prefer to focus on three categories. Zero carbs, one carb, and two carbs. These will be the categories that I focus on; however, I do have a complete list and will totally answer any and all questions about the carb count for our other products.

Epicure’s New Keto Options – Zero Carbs

Ok, who wouldn’t want to have some “free” carb spices!!! I mean the items I’m putting those seasonings on are going to have carbs all on their little own so focusing on the zero carb options are always a good place to start!

Some of my favorite from the zero carb list are Asian Stir-fry Seasoning, Lemon Dilly Dip Mix, and Rosemary Garlic Seasoning!!!

If you have been around here for more than minute, you know I love food and love bold flavors! I want to taste the seasonings, like smack me in the face taste, lol. Now that doesn’t mean these are all bold flavors, it just means I am normally a bit heavy handed with when I am seasoning my food!

Oven Fried Chicken – this recipe is low carb (7 carbs total/serving), but I think it could be lowered by using a Keto friendly flour instead of what the recipe calls for.

Easy Asian Lettuce Wraps – this recipe is 9 carbs/serving, but again, if you want it to be lower, I think it could be easily tweaked and then serve it with cauliflower rice instead of regular sticky rice.

Greek Salmon & Beans – this recipe is 10 carbs/serving and I think would be totally worth it!!!

Epicure’s New Keto Options – One Carb

There are many more options in this category as you will see, everything from spices to dip mixes. Now remember, just because something is labeled a “dressing” or a “dip mix” doesn’t mean that’s the only way you can use that product.

It’s still a spice blend! Throw it on whatever floats your boat, lol. Seriously, feel free to experiment!

Some of my favorite options from the One Carb category is 3-Onion Dip Mix, Creamy Ranch Dip Mix, and Chipotle Aioli Mix (I put this stuff on everything, lol). Little tidbit of info – 3-Onion can be an awesome substitute for fresh onion (hello, no burning your eyeballs while chopping!!). I truly have a bout 10 favorites from this category, but we don’t have time for all that, LOL. Just check out the awesome list below!!

Classic Beef Burgers – OMG, hello burgers are just awesome and you can totally sub a regular bun with a lettuce or a Keto bun and viola, only 3 carbs/serving!!!

Pork Banh Mi with Chipotle Aioli – this recipe calls for yummy crusty bread which brings the carbs up to 14 g/serving – BUT, use a Keto friendly bun or swap for lettuce and you are golden!!!

Sheet Pan Ranch Chicken – this recipe has 11 carbs/serving, but it is totally customizable by using whatever veggies you want – score!!!

Epicure’s New Keto Options – Two Carbs

We have hit our last category, can you believe it!! I hope you are loving Epicure’s low carb options so far!! I’m a bit excited about this category because I get to add in some Meal Solutions and our Awesome Broth Mixes!!!

So, just like before, it’s super hard to just pick a few that I love, but I forced myself to persevere, lol. I love, love, love the Broth Mixes (Miso, Nourish, and Vegetable) so I am counting this as one, lol. It’s my blog so I can do what I want, lol. Epicure’s new Rotisserie Chicken Meal Solutions tastes just like store bought but it is so much better for you!! Lastly, Epicure’s Butter Chicken is so versatile that I just had to include it!!!

Steamer Butter Chicken – this recipe comes in at 5g carbs/serving and you could totally serve it over cauliflower rice or your favorite roasted veggies instead of pasta or rice!!

Rotisserie Chicken – hello, only 2g carbs/serving, WHAT!!!!! Oh, it’s damn good too!

Broth Mixes – Ok, not including a recipe because we are talking about broths, but they are so flavorful, and easy to use that you totally need to check them out!
