You might be wondering what Epicure’s epic taste test program is, and I wouldn’t blame you for asking! Read further to find out about Epicure’s Taste Test, how to purchase it, and why Epicure is running a taste test.
Epicure’s Epic Taste Test Program
Taste Test?
First, let’s lay a little groundwork. I’m sure you have taste tested food at some point in your life. Maybe while walking through Costco or a grocery store. You walk around and get to try little bits of food or meals and you get to gauge how you like the new food.
Epicure’s taste test is similar. Obviously, you won’t be able to try already cooked mini bites. Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could though!
Monthly
Once a month you would have the option to purchase a new flavor of Meal Solution or Dessert Solution that will be available for one month only!
Why only one month? This way Epicure can offer 12 Taste Test options throughout the year! They are always developing new spice blends, meal solutions, meal kits, etc.
Will these taste test ever be part of the regular catalog? Probably. I can’t answer better than that because they don’t know. Epicure develops new options, run them by you, and wait for feedback. I actually think it is a brilliant idea. They can keep it if the items review well, tweak if needed, or even “nix” it if warranted.
What do you get?
If you decide to try the monthly taste test, you will be able to purchase the set Monthly Taste Test (sometimes it’s a 3-pack of one Meal Solution, other times it’s a 2-pack Dessert Solution (with a bonus)). In June, you get 2 Desert Solutions and 1 Whole Food Topper for $19.50 US/$21.50 CA!!!
Now you might be wondering why you get multiples instead of one. Good question. Unfortunately, I don’t know the answer. All of our Meal Solutions and Dessert Solutions run as packs and normally packs of three or two respectively. Additionally, ALL of Epicure’s items can be used in multiple ways, not just what they are “labeled” for. For example, our Dip Mixes are also great for adding depth of flavor for soups or taking your sheet pan dinner to the next level!
What happens if you don’t like it? You could try tweaking it or add different protein and/or veggies. For desserts, you can use it in a different way (I use the sauces as whipped toppings all the time). We all have unique tastebuds so you could always give away the extra packs and your friends may like them. Honestly, I have yet to try any of our meal solutions that I didn’t like. Yes, there were a few I did end up tweaking, but primarily because we really like spicy food.
