It’s 4pm, do you know what’s for dinner? You might be surprised to find out that most people have no idea what’s for dinner most nights so they end ordering take out, going through the drive-through, stopping at the grocery store for items, or eating out.
Not only is that expensive, but it makes an already busy time frame even busier! Most people don’t have a lot of time after work and when you factor in all that running around after work, it’s enough to make you want to pull out your hair.
I don’t know if having a refrigerator full of condiments and jars of random stuff (basically an empty refrigerator) is one of your dinner dilemmas, but I do know it is for some people.

What’s for Dinner?
Over the years, I have found that Meal Planning can solve the “what’s for dinner” dilemma. I know it may seem too easy, but seriously, it truly helps.
I may not be easy to adjust and you might feel “confined” [this was me all the way!]; but play around with different options until you find what works best for you and your family.
I have learned that for me and my family, planning a weeks of meals means about 5 or 6 max. There are always days that we have to punt for some last minute thing so we eat leftovers or meals that I have individual portioned from the freezer.
I have also realized that my biggest struggle with meal planning was due to picking which meals I had on which days. I find that if I plan those 5 meals, I can move them around the week based on what’s going on with us that day and what I feel like cooking, lol. Sometimes I will plan easy meals or a crockpot meal on a day where I know I won’t have much time as well.
