If you are considering joining Epicure, there are a few things you should consider. These are what I believe to be important, but there could be others depending on your circumstances.
Joining Epicure – 1. Do Your Research!
What I mean by this is research Epicure. Make sure it is the right fit for you. Have you tried their products? It’s not necessary but the people who are most successful are those who are in love with Epicure’s products (which makes sense).
Make sure Epicure’s mission statement is in line with your personal views, otherwise Epicure may not be the right fit for you.
Joining Epicure – 2. Choose the Right Sponsor!
When joining any direct sales company, it is always important to make sure you have some type of connection with your sponsor. At the very least, you should like each other, lol. Not all personalities mesh well together and as your sponsor is your go-to person for all questions, you need to have a positive rapport with them.
Have an actual conversation with them (oh the horror, LOL). Get a vibe of who they are and what they stand for. That is something that is hard to determine via text or FB chat.
Joining Epicure – 3. Know your Goals Before You Join
Are you interested in joining for the discount, kitnapping, or are you looking to replace your fulltime job (or somewhere in between)? Regardless of your choice, you need to know before you join so your sponsor can support your goals. No matter what you choose, make the choice based on what YOU want and what is best for YOU and your family!
Your goals are your own and your sponsor should support those. Whatever you choose, there is a space for you in Epicure and on my team.
Joining Epicure – 4. Know Your Why
This is different than your goals. You need to know WHY you want to join Epicure. For example, when I joined I wanted the discount and intended to only kitnap. That changed over time for me and my family, but it was a decision I made and approached my sponsor about to see how best to proceed.
My “Why” now is based on sharing what Epicure has to offer. I believe Epicure to be an amazing company and I want to share that with everyone. I also want to share how their products help make my life easier every day.
Knowing your why is what helps you get up every day and work your business and get through the rough times. It’s what helps you stay focused on your goals so you don’t get distracted by clutter that won’t serve you. If you are not sure, I can help you with this.
Joining Epicure – 5. Know how you want to work your business
Do you want to do in-person cooking classes primarily or do you prefer doing virtual cooking classes? I prefer to run my business primarily online due to my schedule and commitments; however, it isn’t as easy and it’s not for everyone.
Both have their pros and cons and only you know what will work better for you on the day-to-day.
Joining Epicure – 6. Create a list of people who you think would make great hosts
Don’t freak out, this is to help you. Don’t think about whether they will say yes or no, just think of people you know who would benefit from using Epicure’s products. Think family, friends, school connections, church connections, etc. Think of those who like to eat clean, may have food allergies, need help with time-saving recipes and cookware, etc.
You aren’t approaching anyone at this point, you are just free writing a list of names. This will help you later if you decide to join Epicure. Your sponsor will help you approach the people on your list without being spamming and have you focus on service.
Joining Epicure – 7. Create a list of people who you think would be interested in joining Epicure
Again, don’t freak out. Who do you know that could benefit from earning some extra money each month? Sharing the Epicure opportunity is not something that is required, but if you are interested in building a team, generating a list ahead of time is extremely helpful.
Most people freeze up initially because they are afraid of asking or sharing the Epicure business. The important thing is that you do it from a place of service and regardless of their decision, they won’t be offended. Also, have zero expectations as not everyone will say yes, and that is OK.
7 Quick Tips on Joining Epicure – Wrap Up
As I mentioned above, these are the top seven tips that I believe all people looking to join Epicure should consider. I have found over the years that those who can honestly answer these seven questions are more successful with their goals because they have done their research and know what they want.
