Could you use some simple on the go snacks for back to school? It’s that time of year where many parents and kids are gearing up for back to school, even if that looks different this year. I know my kids will be starting via distance learning; however, that doesn’t mean that we don’t still need some simple on the go snacks for “between” classes and during homework time.

If you have been around here for more than a minute, then you might recognize some of my go-to snacks. If you haven’t tried them yet, be sure you do! Not only are they tasty, but they are good for you too!
One of my current favorites is the Power Up Bliss Balls! You can make these with Vanilla or Chocolate Protein Powder. I’m a self-proclaimed choco-holic so I always go with the Chocolate Protein Powder. One of the other tasty tidbits that I love about these is that I can roll them in whatever I want. My preference is to roll them in unsweetened shredded coconut, but I also like to roll them in graham cracker crumbs and Cocoa Acai Smoothie Booster when I’m wanting something really decadent.
These will freeze beautifully, just make sure you layer them with wax paper so they don’t stick. They should thaw in about 30 minutes or so when at room temperature.

Another one of my all-time favorites is Superhero Cookies! Just like the Power Up Bliss Balls, you can also use the Vanilla or Chocolate Protein Powder. These can also be made nut-free if needed by using a nut-free substitute.
The first time I made these, I made a double batch even before trying them, lol. They did not disappoint! I froze them and layered them in wax paper so they wouldn’t stick together. Then when I was ready to eat one, I would just pop it into the microwave for 30 sec.
If you are packing them in lunches, you they will thaw by the time you want to eat them.
Remember when I mentioned that I would provide some simple on the go snacks that could also serve double duty, this is one of them. These make an amazing breakfast as well, especially if you are running out the door.
What would you add to your Superhero Cookies?

Next on our list of simple on the go snacks is the Perfect Portion Bliss Bars. Just like the first two, you can tweak the flavor of these if you want. Make them fruity or make them chocolatey, either way, they are definitely a tasty snack!
These too can be frozen as well and will thaw by lunch if you are packing your lunch or your kids lunch.
The Perfect Portion Bliss Bars are a little easier to make than the first two because of the Perfect Petites silicone pan. The Perfect Petites pan is great for making perfectly portioned treats, or even flavored ice cubes!
Will you try the Perfect Portion Bliss Bars?

What I love about this next snack is that it comes together so quickly! These granola bars are also much better for you than store-bought. The 10 Minute Silicone Steamer Granola Bars are also very versatile, the recipe calls for Apple Pie Spice; however, you could easily swap that for Cinnamon or Pumpkin Pie Spice (we just may get this too!) to change it up as well.
This comes together quickly due to using the Multi Purpose Steamer, with the help of your microwave reduces cook exponentially.
If you want to add a bit of sweetness, throw in some mini chocolate chips or drizzle them with melted chocolate.
Which spice would you choose?

My final simple on the go snack is the Sweet Banana Bread Muffins. Like most of the snacks I have listed, you can batch these and freeze them individually.
These muffins come together super quickly and if you use the Muffin Maker, you can make these in about 3 minutes per 6 muffins. So, all in all, in about 10 minutes you can make 12 yummy muffins that you can have as breakfast or snack.
Are you a fan of muffins?
